STANDARD FILTRATION

Standard filtration is a type of filtration that is designed to pass water through a single or a series of media filters to help purify the water and make it safer to drink or to use for other non-drinking applications.

This type of filtration will remove sediment, dirt and rust as well as chlorine provided a filter is used whose purpose is designed to remove the chlorine.

This type of filtration can also be used to help filter out bacteria, cysts, mold, algae, cryptosporidium, other materials and to help eliminate bad tastes and odors.

Using standard filtration does not remove fluoride, viruses, dissolved solids or particles that are sub micron in size nor does it usually kill bacteria etc without the addition of other systems such as UV Filtration.

Currently we promote either the Quantum or Everpure under the counter single filter units or the generic two or three stage filtration systems, which allow you to adapt the filters according to your changing needs or changing water conditions. Of course we would be happy to sell or service most other units on the market at our customers request.

For renters or travelers we also have various portable counter top units available that quickly and easily hook up to your faucet and do not need to be plumbed in.
